Based on a famous Dorothy Wilding photograph of the new and as yet uncrowned Queen in April 1952, it is the portrait Ed was working on when news of her death was announced.
With reaction to the original in vinyl records so universally positive Ed is taking the unprecedented step of publishing one of his mosaics as a print. Limited to just 70, each print marks a year of Her Majesty’s reign 1952-2022.
Each print is 50x50cm and reproduced on high quality paper with a 20mm white border, is individually numbered and comes unframed, with a certificate of authenticity.
Ideal as a personal gift for any home, a print can be personalised by selecting the number in the edition that may reflect the year of her reign, number one for 1952, number 14 for 1966 etc.
